    It is awesome... but I even though I took a couple of physics papers at Uni, I still struggle to understand how you recover from a whip that has you leading with the rear wheel, just by looking back in the direction you're travelling...

    Similar principals to countersteering are also involved, and they also use rear wheel rpm. Ridiculously awesome what some people can do with bikes!

    Yeah figured there was more to it than that, but it does just look like a turn of the head (unless you look closely )

    cool, but hes still got nothing on todd potter. those head moments on some of his jumps look a bit silly.

    its a weird feeling but the bike sort of brings itself inline... having bars on full lock and revving helps.
    its also strange you start bringing the bike back at the perfect time - never once when i was jumping fmx did i not bring a whip back.
