So if someone did the same with a motorbike what bits would come from which bikes?

A guy in aussie makes a whole after market hub engineered from the principles of the triumph and ducati ones (ie ones that dont fuck out), he is selling them like they are going out of fashion. A mate just got one in for around $1000 nzd, for the complete unit.

    Wouldn't it just be a GT650R?

Actually is would be an SV650. They were making that before they made the GT.
The GT was a "Whole new design". Which basically like saying "Please Suzuki don't sue the pants off us for making a bike.....its different see, SEE!!!"

That'd be why the one I followed looked like an X from behind - and the rider only had one cheek on the seat....

A bike built from the worst warrantee claims would have an early Honda V4 motor and probably the weird rotary pump shock from the first TL. Didn't the first Triumph Sprint frames break at the steering head ? One of those roughly welded together would suit our project...

Really - can't we buy that anymore?
Shame. I remember trying it years ago. Good stuff.
