    Son of a bitch

So I finally got some heated handgrips when I was at Honda getting a new rear tyre and wof today. Test Fitted them this Arvo and went for a ride. Worked perfect.
Go home to superglue the grips on to the bar, then leave it to set. Just checked on it, and somehow the fucking throttle is glued shut. Pulled the grip off and the throttle sleeve underneath won't budge. No idea where it's stuck. Any ideas bar cutting off the throttle and fitting a new one?

Turn on the hot grips ... see if the heat softens the glue's grip ...

Weird ... Turn them on and see what it does, leave it for a while to heat up then give it a good wiggle

Is the throttle tube open ended some glue could have scraped off and gone between the tube and bar?
If its not then it could have gone into the gap between the shoulder of the tube (if it has one) and the housing/clamp if the housing is in halves then you might have to pull the two halves apart.

You need to lower the carbon/boron rods to slow the reactions down within the uranium 235 fuel elements. You'll glow in the dark but the bike will be fine after that.

Hopefully you meant you glued the heated grip, to the throttle tube, ie the glue (used sparingly) should be on top of the throttle tube, under the grip.

If you put it between the throttle tube, and the handlebar, then no worky for you. The throttle tube is designed to slide around the handlebar.

Hopefully the heated grips soften up the glue, try putting them back on and run the bike for a while.

Yeah, the chances of your heated grips softening super glue is pretty close to zero.

    Melting Point 365°F (185°C)
    Softening Point 306°F (153°C)
    Cured Temperature Range -65°F to 180°F (-54°C to 82°C)

Bugger!!! I will swap you - my heated handgrip on the clutch side works like the throttle in the fact in spins around - drives me nuts as the cable do-dacky moves round and gets in the way when I pull the clutch in

    Should have done it myself!
