Tho I do miss movie popcorn I just can't replicate that stuff no matter how hard I try, must be some black magic involved.
I can understand where you are coming from my partner has just brought a blue ray player really makes a huge difference watching the dvd'd it's just so clear and the colours. We have a big telly to and all the AV gear to we have the Sony brand.

Also you are right you can pause the movie when every you want but there are just some movies you have to see on the big screen.

I saw it tonight. I'm not sure about the 3D, that's the first time I've seen a 3D movie. During the trailer for "The Three Musketeers" a cannonball made just about everyone in the theatre duck. I'm not completely convinced that 3D worked quite so well for a film about the TT.

This movie is different to the Duke TT DVDs, as well as some incredible riding, there is more of a story to it. You also get a more comprehensive look at some of the riders, particularly Guy Martin.
    Respect to all of them.

If you're sitting at home wondering whether to go, get off yer arse and make the move.

    Shaun

Have you guys seen some of Shaun Harris' laps on Isle of Man. There is one where he does a commentary while riding the Britten. Check out his 2003 runs where he won both 600 and 1000 classes.
    By the way, hi Shaun.

Saw it tonight and is an awesome documentary on last years iom esp good in 3d.

Guy Martin is certainly an interesting character & you could feel how bad he wants to win a tt.

    And hutchy is a legend.

Go see it, you won't be disappointed.

Agreed 100%. I went and saw it tonight by myself (no shame), such a great film. Took the bike and had a guy sit next to me talking the usual about bikes with me. I think everyone in the theatre had leather jackets with them.

Well, if you ever wondered if they are fookin nuts, and if you ever wondered if Guy Martin really is a wanker, all is revealed.

Pretty good movie. 3D is great, but after a long day working on thousands of lines of code, with still about 4 hours work to go now the head is pounding a bit.

    Definitely recommend it to y'all.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Awesome movie - really liked the use of 3D for this, some gripping stuff! Looking forward to seeing it again next week!

Big ups to Botany Honda for booking out the theatre just for filthy biker scum! I was enjoying changing my sight lines as the POV went to a front on view (and watching other heads tilting as well!)

Saw it last night, gripping footage and excellent cinematography. Some very cool shots. Big respect to the riders, they're f*cking lunatics with huge nuts.

Also Guy Martin, is he a pikey or something... That accent, jees takes a while to sync into it.
