Smile How do I register an old 60s BSA that has no plate?

    Hi All ,,

    I Hello ,,
I am trying to find out what I need to do or who I need to see to get an old motorcycle registered again for road use ..It is a 1969 BSA model and has no plate ,, I purchased it years ago as a restoration project from the previous owner who had stored for many years waiting on his retirement, once retired he would restore .. Sadly for him he had a marriage break up and ended up selling it to me ,, Neither this previous owner or myself have been able to find out when this bike was if ever last registered in NZ ,,

If you are able to help or put me onto someone that can I would appreciate it ,,

    Thanks
    Paul

Phone LTNZ. I found the guy really helpful and if you have the details of the owner before you it shouldn't be impossible.

    Cheers

Best place to start is your local Vintage Car Club. Don't waste your time with LTSA at this stage...

I read in the latest Beaded Wheels that its even possible to resurrect the old black plates.

    1951 T100......nice...rigid or Sprung Hub.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.
