Dont no alot about road bikes.

Yes. Definitely get a BIKE mechanic to inspect before purchase if you are new to motorcycles.

The problem with 22 year old, Japanese imported bikes, is they were half fucked when they were imported and are ususally fully fucked now. Be VERY carefull of what you are buying. ZXR250s are renowned for fucked cam chains and tensioners and carbs can be fairly badly worn also.
