    Metro racing I think sell his t's,yep a hard racer alright,remember barry sheene would always wear a gary nixon shirt when he raced.

    Sad to hear that,he was one of the first American racers to get famous. He came over to Europe to road race,something Americans didn't do very well in those days. Of course he started out as a flattracker as most US riders were...and still are. Here are some photos from my files.

    Saw him race at the early Transatlantic races in the UK along with the likes of Cal Rayborn, Yvon du Hamel and co - really impressive.

    The Daytona name associated with Triumphs for several decades came from him breaking the dominance of Harley Davidsons at the Daytona 200, riding a 500cc Triumph Twin.
