It's an off-road motorcycle, and assuming you are only using it off road, you don't really have many regulations to comply with.

Have you been to your local dealer and asked them about performance exhausts you could buy?

Which is why we keep losing land to ride on because people think they can make as much noise as they like. They also think it will help it 'breath' & that will unleash untold power. 4 strokes make a barratone noise that goes for miles.

Keep the thing stock, or if you must buy a quiet aftermarket pipe.

-Heck spend the money on suspension & tyres & have a much better bike.

Not sure why you would want it louder, but different can lengths and sections give different sounds. Stock it should (maybe?) be a tuned, open can, so don't think you will see any performance gains.

It's a dirtbike though, so the fun is in riding it not listening to it!

There right a loud bike is no fun at all...........
Even on the old ones if you dont race serious and you wanna just go do the odd club day and smoke everyone on a big old 5hundy it great and if you get beaten you have a handful of excuses

Loud doesn't always mean more power, Also motor Cross bikes do have to comply with noise regulations at the boundy of the property.

Nothing worse then a noisy two stroke or 4 stroke that sounds like shit.

Muffler length affects performance but wont always give your more power, a lot of the time it just moves the power further down or up the rev range which sometimes gives the impression of more power but really over all little or no gains have been made.

What bike are you looking at putting this on?

Ive had experiance with 2 and 4 strokes.
