even with a wheelie showoff start it only took like 20 secs to reach an indicated 300!

Damn thats unreal.... acclerates rapidly to, what?, 150 mph or so...on the back wheel....then drops it down and just storms up to 300+. Faaaark. That thing makes my bike look positively asthmatic! Is that 'normal' for a 'Busa, or is this one tricked up a bit? Damn- why didn't I ride Glens when he offered it to me ???

seen both clips before, both pretty good..

remember peeps, that busa has mph on the outside, and kph on the inside of the dials.. I've watched that a few times and reckon he gets to something stupid like 230mph.. notice when he slows down, that 100mph (while still very fast), just doesn't look all that much any more.. 30mph (50kph) must seem so frustrating to him now..

The sound of the Hayabusa is awesome.
    Love to own one
90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.

Takes roughly 10 seconds to get to 150kph on my CBR, that's nothing by comparison

Playing the video on double speed right now, if only...

Meh, rough uneducated guess. Tend to concentrate on the road when I'm riding, not the speedo

    Call that acceleration??

    THIS http://www.corvetteclubri.com/Acceleration.htm is acceleration.
eg this line : "Dragsters reach over 300 miles per hour before you have completed reading this sentence."
    or maybe this: http://www.top-fuel-racing.com/darks...g/top-fuel.htm
eg :Zero to 200 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds, Zero to 300 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds

Note these are MILES per hour
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Yaa but those are limited application machines...... they only last those few seconds...

An F1 car has a full race to finish....... that's why I wanted to know what a Moto GP bike does it in ...... the bike should be video game fast too.
