I'm from Kansas, not a helmet state (like a great deal of them). I only wore a helmet when leaving town and doing highway speeds... Other than that you turn your ballcap around and take off.

Oddly in Kansas you don't need a helmet, but it's illegal to ride without eye protection. So I would never ride without sunglasses, or clear glasses. Haha

I rode around the neighborhood here in Brisbane the other day, and people gave me the most shocked and dumbfounded looks. Couldn't help but laugh.

But come on it's a scooter on a movie poster. The thing is like 50cc... You're probably more in need of a helmet when crossing the street. (kidding)

Blistered along at 32 once, almost passed out.

More exercise, less donuts. I used to average 30kph for 2 hours on training rides (in the country so up and down hills). Topped my bicycle out at 85kph. That felt bloody fast

Ok, so I might have been training 5 days a week, and weighed 30kg less... but that doesn't mean anything does it? Then I found engines... I like engines.
