In that case I'd better give it a wash...

And the score's better than 18,000km a year: she bought it in 2007.

I am sure there is a very good reason for you doing it. Were my primary school teachers mistaken when they told me I couldn't start a sentence with a conjunction?

But no. It's OK as long as it's not overdone.

Primary school teachers aren't as bad for the young minds they corrupt as are typing teachers and the nonsense that they promulgate.

Roger. I consider my hand slapped just like the ol' typing teacher used to do it!

And I am looking forward to pictures.

    Did I do that correctly?

    The Flying Banana

Had it for a good while now, got dropped and grazed up the left side fairings a while ago so I had a stab at repainting it myself.

How it is now, slowly ticking its way towards 100k on the clock

    Repaint all done

This one's from a few years ago, 86 GSXR1100 which I re-furbished, yet another bike I should have kept.

Blackdog, the seat cowlings were available from Just Fairings in Hamilton, would be worth a call to find out.

My old '89 GSXR-1100-K. I bought it with less than 30K on the clock and sold it at approx 170K. Loved that bike, never skipped a beat.

Sold it and regret doing so since I wanted to do it up, but as my wife pointed out it would be another project that the King Of Procrastinators would never get around to finishing...

I wouldn't mind it for spares but not at that price.
