Nice, should set him loose on the old TL and see how he fares, still one of the few bikes locally anyway to do the Waitaki bridge end to end on the back wheel. Was thinking of heading up to CH-CH for a weekend away in the next few weeks, should meet up with you guys, DnG and a few others for a boozy night.

I'm still waiting for a play on your TL..each time you've offered at rallies I've been under the influence of one thing or another

it was way after you'd already been sprung for fracturing the handle bar and a long time after you'd been seen dispatching cars at intersections by the same means
That was just after you'd got back from the Hokinui Rally 2008

Yeah perceived value for money was a large factor, The fact that I could get a bike only a few years old with 6000k on the clock in mint condition for only a shade more than I paid for my 10 year old blackbird with 70000ks on it was a bonus.

As for the TL, It's a beast for sure but I don't actually like the rounded bulbous fairings, looks abit like a naked eye abuser, or a suzuki vtr 1000.
    Whats he building in there??

Farkin libertiesNever compare it to a bloody VTRGranted there rounded but then so is the Mrs.Fwiw i was offered an SV as a straight swap for my old girl, made sense to do it but after owning the thing for a decade and spending so much $ on it (which doesnt make sense) i declined.

Cheers, yep its been spoilt over the years for sure.About to fit a set of GSXR forks, mainly for the radial calipers to be honest, currently have 6 pots of a Busa and there rubbish, would have been better to have kept the oem 4 pots with decent lines.
