Yeh I think I saw some shots of it somewhere, lots of bits of sheet welded together for a very angular muffler, which I guess is the bit poking out the back of the cowl. If only there was a mod sub-forum on here, he could post up a build thread, :sighs despairingly:

Know what you mean. I had my Z1000 in pieces when I spied the ZRX in Ch Ch. Since it wasn't in any state to sell I had to real nice to the Mrs so I could break into the savings to secure the ZRX beore someone else grabbed it. Sad to see the Z1000 go but rapped with the Rex.

Better join with Dangerous and list another Guzzi on here.(represent & all that?)

    Heres my daily transport-
    "PhatGirl" 95 Guzzi 1100 sport
Bought her as a lemon from a dodgy Dunedin bike importer (Now closed due to dodgy dealings...go figure huh)...Soon as I threw a leg over, I Knew I had to rescue her!
Spent hours & Hours in the shed stripping and rebuilding her (New clutch, bearings, loom rebuilt...list goes on & on lol)
She's running 41mm Keihin carbs (With Stealth Tech accel pump covers & mix screws), Full Termignoni race system & mufflers.
I have actually "detuned" her for petrol savings and easier chugging around town (stops the keihins from putting me into the back of car )
Unfortunatley the quakes have taken a toll her (fell on both sides...one side per quake )
    Absolutely LOVE this bike
(Last pic= My son Ryder & his ride...and his partner in crime Sooty)

He's done it supposedly to be a Wes Cooley replica
Though if he'd done some research he'd have realised:
    A) It's the wrong red & it was only on the fuel tank
    B) Wes Cooley's GS1000 never sported a belly pan

Personally belly pans on a GS look the pox...to bulky and the seat cowl should have a swab on it.
He's ditched the pack frame & the dark tint screen & the headlight lense protectors
Least I removed the goodies in the wiring that isolated the restricter so once 180 got nudged she'd go flat as a turd

There is something re these that makes me look twice. 3 years ago I almost bought one of them. Wanted $5.5K for it. Still hurts that she is not in my garage...

May the bridges I burn light the way.
