    Here you go

Woe to go guide to doing a decent job

Does take time and money though, especially your first time. If you already have an OEM finish I wouldn't DIY repaint myself.

I just did my GSXR a few months back, first time, and it was a bitch and i've only got okayish results but hey..

    Repaint all done

I've painted a lot of bikes over the years and it's not hard if you take your time and really satisfying but you need a decent gun and compressor and need to know the basics. I'm one of those people that can't leave a bike alone and the paint is usually the first thing to get done.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Frame / metal bits - Powder coating, cost me $200 to get my bikes frame and wheels, and bits n bobs done.

engine - get this done professionally, mine cost me $200 to get painted. (they have good paint for this).

Fairings. You can DIY. Painting is easy. the prep is hard work.

a few tips. you have to paint inside in a dust free environment. Very hard to get this unless you have a (well ventilated) room that no one goes into. Spray water into the air before you paint as this will settle the dust.

    Don't sand inside

    over spray goes every where

you can get a very good finish with rattle cans. But it will fade within 6 months.

    Wet sand your paint job.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Been watching this thread for a bit now,
Does anyone have a rough idea, pretending the fairings are already or not needing much prep how much a professional single colour paint job will cost for fairings and tank only?

I know each place will be different etc, just looking at a rough idea as I have Fibreglass fairings on their way unpainted of coarse.
