    Fork identification - help!

Can anyone tell me what make and model these forks are from?

I had thought they were from a RVF400 or ZXR400 but they don't quite match. I have them on my NSR but they allow for larger discs. Getting the larger discs isnt so much the problem (but it is a problem) but finding out whether I can use my NSR calipers is!

They look like ZXR250s that have had the top bit that holds the front fender ground off.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

There was one for sale down here a short while back that had a ZXR400 front end conversion... did you buy that one?

What is the top end of them like? Easy to match upper and lower diameters that pass through the yokes. there is a number of small differences inf forks across the kawasaki range around the zxr250 - zxr400 years. I had the same issue trying to identify what I bought for my bros (ZXR250C if you need to compare any dimensions). Is there a compression clicker on the left leg?

Could be also. With the top bit that holds the fender ground off, or unbolted. Hard to know:

I'm not sure if its the same one you're thinking of. The guy didn't advertise it as having ZXR forks. But if it looked shit and was cheap then yep it's probably that one.

Went out to the garage and checked. Has definately had the guard holder ground off so I suspect you guys are right. Have included a picture of the ground bit and also of the top adjusters.Click image for larger version.

Turns out these were ZXR750 (1994-1995) forks! What a nightmare!
