Good mechanic in Auckland who knows F650s?

    Hi guys,

Does anyone know a good mechanic in Auck, who knows BMW F650's insideout? I need a few tricky problems straightened out, and am skeptical of just taking it to any mechanic.

    Cheers
    Chris

Give george from motorcycle doctors a call.

Not sure if he knows the bikes inside and out, but he is the best mechanic i've run into.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

What's the bikes issue, someone on here may have had same problem?

Its prob worth its own thread, but the problem is general engine smoothness and starting.

Sometimes it tries to start but kinda sounds like it jams. Try again, and it will turn over for a bit too long, then cough into life. Sounds a bit rattly too. Other times it will start fine. No prob with power delivery. Sometimes makes a big clunk when turning off too.

I'm going to sell it as I don't have time to use it, but want to get it serviced first just to check its not going to die on the next owner.
