    Perelli MT32 or Michelin S12

    Hi guys
Looking at a new rear tyre for my KLX300r and just seeing what general opinion was. I mostly ride at woodhill (alot of sand) so just wondering what was more suited

All most all of the guys that I ride with, use the S12.
I'm sure that I use to used the MT32 but then changed to the S12.
Some guys with bigger and heavier bikes (4T) find the side walls to soft on
    the front S12.
You should be OK on the KLX and it's not terrible it's just unnerving at times
when the tire flexes and it feels a bit flat when you load up the front tire.

My riding buddy uses an mt32 on his KTM, it seems to hook up quite well in the sand. It is an intermediate tyre, so it should work well in most conditions.

I am running a M32 on the back of my WR. It's half worn now but I had no traction problems yesterday in slick clay conditions. If anything it hooks up to well and I'll run a 110 wide tyre next time (120 at the mo)

Although.... I do have a M32 on the front.and I think i used to have it on the back they were the standard tyres. they did last a long time I have now ditched the back for an MC4 but still have the M32 on the front.

It's good to hear that you happy with your choice.
I think that all the tires mentioned are good, it can be just down to the
favour that you like. And the difference between them can some times be
in your head. And unless you are racing at the top end it does not matter
that much. And if it does, you have to do a lot of testing to see what suits
you and your bike and sometimes that has to be on the day.

I know that I am bring up an old thread.
But if you want a good sand/mud tire, have a look at the Pirelli MT410.
It looks like it will be a good tire.

    MT410
Feel the fear and do it anyway

how much did you pay for the mt32`s ? My tyres are koozed and I was going for either a set of S12`s or MC4`s .. The MC4`s look like quite an aggressive pattern and at about $160 a set an awesome price , but I guess "you get what you pay for" ?
