Aren't Aprilia and Triumph handled by the same importer? Can't say I've heard good things about back up for either of 'em to tell you the truth.

Coming from a 109 I just can't see you being happy with a wee 750 twin. The 1200 might be a different story.

The CB1000R strikes me as a great base to start from. Wack a pipe and a set of renthal's on it and you've got instant attitude, with huge scope for more if you want (it's a detuned 'blade motor...hint, hint) It's got fully adjustable forks for those track days, whereas I don't think the lil' Dorsoduro has adjustable compression damping. So yeah, CB1000R for me....I mean you.

The aprilia would be the choice for handling, hooliganism and good track day potential[with possible re-springing at the front first], but last for seat comfort, fuel range, reliability and appalling warranty support. But funnest!!PS Get the FACTORY! The Honda-if you cant say something nice....dont say anything at all......!

+1. Once you put after-market suspension on etc they become even better than perfect. I'm selling my one - it's pretty well sorted

    Triumph

I have a factory Aprilia that is less than a year old. I recently rode the 675 Triumph and was impressed. Sold on Triumph triple.

Z1000 looks very nice this time of the year
Just to throw a spanner in the works
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....
