Not really wanting to go as extreme as a Ohlins 2.1 (because she who must be obeyed may shoot me if i spend that much), but wouldn't mind addding one to reduce the feedback in the slow stuff

WHY!!!!!!!! on so many levels. Are you expecting a tank slapper?![]()
Reality is only an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol in the blood.
Na, but I rode a mates 09 CRF250 with the factory damper in the loose sand the other week and theres a noticible difference on my kxf at low speeds, high speed is ok, but for tight slower speed stuff the damper makes a bit of difference.

have fitted ohlins, gpr and wer dampers, you get what you pay for, but wer's still work, just not as good as the rest,
Thanks Scott, yeah even the factory Honda damper will do what I want, so will have a look at these ones, cheers

Hit the gym homey. Build those two steering dampers up hanging from your shoulders.
E-bay..

would really like to see how you fit that to a MX bike,
I am a little bit suprised no one has come up with a mounting kit to fit the honda type damper to other bikes, but you would prob need a whole lower triple clamp and maybe frame mods to make it work so it may not be able to be done at a reasonable cost
its more the fact that you move around a lot more on a dirtbike than on a road bike, so you need to have it tucked out of the way, and since dirtbikes are very sparse anyway it creates a problems,
yeah I was sort of wondering how id fit one of those on my kxf... don't really want bits poking out, really want one that mounts on the steering head.
