Buy now while the $ is good

Now looks like a good time to be buying bits form overseas with the NZ$ being so high. What websites have people used, the good and bad, expecially for DL650 parts and accessories. www.twistedthrottle.com has most of the stuff I want at the moment but have never bought anything from them.

I bought my center stand for the Transalp from them.
    All good with that.
I'll get some other stuff through them eventually.

Fast Postal service but slow in others...

I bought some bits and pieces from GPSCity.com and they arrived in just five days from Las Vegas. The prices were cheaper than New Zealand and Australia by over $70! A cradle for a GPS unit was $7.95 v $32 NZD, so no wonder I went shopping overseas. I got the pieces required for $48 and change USD, including $10.99 shipping. The NZ Prices for RAM mounts and parts was over $125.00 and that had not included any shipping! A huge difference. How can that be justified then, huh?
I am still waiting for a Acerbis fuel tank from Los Angeles, this has taken over 15 days so far, no need to panic just yet...

If anyone wants a GPS cradle for a Garmin 60C series CSX. CX etc, let me know, they sent me two by mistake....Cheaper price by far, just $20

I got myself a Touratech bash plate and even managed to put most of it on by myself, just by chance Leanne's Dad was here and Phreaky Phil even dropped in at just the right time, so in the end a bit of a team effort :-)

It is a cradle for the GPS, not the mount as well. You will still need the attachment for the RAM cradle. PM's enabled

I used these guys...http://www.kiwigps.co.nz/ for my ram mounts. Prices weren't to bad, quick service and .......after sales service was only a phone call away.
New Big muffler is almost here, 3 days from the Netherlands to Auckland via Germany, China and Singapore, damn good freight service I got stung for GST and some other costs though, bastards.
