Cali rider visiting NZ

Will be traveling from California to NZ early October, arriving in Auckland between 10/6 - 10/12 and heading south. Will be touring both islands in 2 weeks time, probably spending more time on the South Island.

Pooh! False advertising, I thought you were riding a Cali (Moto Guzzi Californian)... Oh well....

Its spring here, which means it can be windy and wet so be prepared for both PLUS winter can still lash out with a good old southerly storm and make it cold as well. (but having said that, the year is shaping up pretty good so far)

People here are pretty decent but that does not mean everyone is. Adopt a sensible attitude and dont leave expensive kit just laying there on the bike while you toddle off going 'Ooooh and Ahhhh' over some giant snails or a pile of fossilized wood pedgeon pooh... Unfortunately, some less developed types regard all tourists as meal tickets. (global trend really)
