Best ADV or Enduro bike for under $3K?

Want to get another road registered bike for adv / enduro riding. Only have $2K. 6ft2 inch and 95kg beer keg . Whats the best option?
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

You can't blame your wife, she's eating the same food and is thin and trim.

I had a Dommie for three years and loved it, great machine but it pooed the camshaft and rockers, other than that Honda solid.

Wasn't big money to do the cam and rockers either so all worked out well.

RMX250 would be a good bet, there was a road legal on TM down Masterton way a week ago.
