Best sales in history for BMW GS's

Just reading the latest Bike Rider mag, says BMW GS's have sold the most bikes in history in the 6 months leading up to 30 June 2011.
    60,300 units in 6 months mainly 1200 GS's.
Seems even in Tough times you cannot keep a great bike down.

I have personaly made a contribution to those statistics recently.
The R1200gs is like having four bikes in one & is absolutely the most incredible machine I have ever owned.
Its the Swiss army knife of motorcycles.
Hardly surprising they are selling like hotcakes.

I bought a GSA... bloody incredible bike, best I've had and it's convinced me I'm not owning anything else for a while...

Bought as an ex-demo with 4000km on the clock mid-Jan, now sitting in LA awaiting shipping back to NZ with 30,500km, so that's 4 months of no riding it in between now and January.

*stands* My name is Matt and I own a 12GSA... *waits for applause*.

Best bike i've owned. Love it. So versatile. My advdesigns crash bar extensions have just arrived and my Ohlins front shock (to match the rear) should arrive at the end of the month.

    Awesome bike.

About time actually... I was going to tell you to get some... they've reduced the damage on mine by a decent chunk 3 times already... ahem... yes, worth their weight in gold.

1-A poor tradesman always blames his tools.
2-I found it to be a complete hoot on gravel. Maybe thats because im a far more accomplished rider than you.
3-But not as at home outside cafes as a Ducati or Harley.
4-Who the fuck is Charlie? oh. . . you mean the guy out of the Asian porn movie "Wong way down?"

My tool is very sharp, thank you.
I compared it to your tool and found yours wanting.
As far as being an "accomplished rider", I guess it depends on how you define accomplishments You're certainly an expert in taking stinky bait...
