    Pirelli Scorpion rally tyres

I have had this tyre on since the Naki Liqufaction Ride and was very impressed with its performance all conditions. Pirelli NZ Importers in there infinite wisdom arent bringing them in, BUT, will indent them for anyone who wants them. They may change there mind about stocking them if enough people show interest. I am going to get a couple indented for myself. I spoke with John At Boydes in Hamilton yesterday about them and will be getting mine through him. So if you want to try one contact your Pirelli dealer or give John a call (078381209)

Look good! especially for next winter ( I am confident that despite the hail in Wellington today, winter is over!...)
I'll need to replace the Michelin MT63's soon. They have been great off road and suprisingly long lasting for a knobbly on road too.
But what we all really need to know about these Pirelli's is....

    ....Cost?

Not sure, The one I got from Aussie retailed in Aus for $135 so I guess they will be in that region. We may be able to get an idea from Pirelli. I will enquire.

If I read the pirelli website correctly they don't have a rear for the DR650 or Transalp.
    FRONT

    21''
    90/90 - 21 M/C 54R MST

    REAR

    17''
    150/70 - 17 M/C 69R M/C M+S TL

    18''
    120/100 - 18 M/C 68R MST
    140/80 - 18 M/C 70R MST

    and that's all?

Yea, i'm only using the fronts. I like the Mitas E09 rear and Kenda Trackmaster when this get messy. I reckon the Pirelli front and the E09 rear will be a good combo.
