I had a stunt rider wanting to put on a show at our Quake Ride but I chose not to go with considering the bad publicity if anything went wrong.
I would however, consider it for the next one.

This is one of the better ones. I believe this was the 2006 ride and yes they shut down the highway and do it every year.

I don't think it stands for anything, it's more a reference to what they look like after they come off.. pink and red with bits coming out everywhere.
