No worries mate, was good to to see you and Ang at the club today, should be able to fit you on to a trailer somewhere. Think Edde was planning on trailering his CRF230 up there too, may be room for 2

What is this? Sounds more like a trail ride. Getting there is half of the fun...

I will be fitting my FlatTracker motor into the " Fastest XR200 in NZ "
We will see how it goes.
Thanks again to Ross for being ON The Spot & knowing what to do when Ang had her crash last Saturday.
Shame, the 223 Honda flat tracker is so damaged. So glad Bart got all those cool pics of it on Ranges Ride & that Ang is ok.

I've ridden some trials bikes back in the late 70's, mind you just a 'play' on them . . . a TL250, Montessa. AWESOME !!!
    Follow your dream buddy

Will be picking up our 1990 XR200 from the Honda Shop as it's been running poorly. Replaced manifold gasket, fixed a leak in header pipe & did the timing. Said it's running sweet now. NB It has DR250 forks & disc brake. All yours if you want to join the trailer trash Marty??

Most of the bikes going now on this trail ride are non road legal bike's other then mine & Wade's so if I can be driven back after a hard day's riding with a cold RTD or beer in my hand I will be happy LOL Who's going to drive the family falcon & trailer for me?

Was thinking about turning this ride into 2 parts, the farm ride is the trail ride and the adventure ride is dodging the cops on chook chasers getting there and back.

As discussed, I will claim a place on your trailer Robin and drive the 'Coon" if need be, is there room for a 3rd bike on there?, I will only be bringing the 2fiddy now as my son has higher priorities like a new girlfriend.

I reckon 9.00 in Wairoa, main st opposite Oslers bakery( Still the best in the country) There are picnic tables down on the river bank. The farm is about 20min from there.

Looking forward to Sat. Hoping I won't get pinged riding my 200 into town with no back light, indicators or number plate to get my back tyre changed to my new K760.

Have torn ligaments or badly bruised right ribs water skiing yesterday in choppy Lake Taupo. Just the way I hit the water. Carried on, but paying the price for it now

Hoping I will be back to full fitness by Sat

Ouch Robyn, Hope you can get it sorted quickly, The ride wouldnt be the same without the mighty 200 Some of the farm will be fairly technical but good strapping will help if its not fully healed.
While on the subject of next Sat, The days are still pretty warm so having plenty to drink will be important cos we suffered from Dehydration last time. The work effort will be a lot higher than our normal rides due to the terrain (It aint flat mate).
Protective gear will be up to the individual, It will be all slow (ish) going, helmets and boots at least but its about staying cool enough to concentrate as well.

I'm borrowing Robins trailer to collect my new toy tommorow, then loading up hers and Ross's so we will have three on one trailer, wonder if it would be easier to load one on yours?

Ditto New back tyre & 12 tooth sprocket on the front . . . . . & a brand spanking new pair of MX gloves
That's what happens when you are standing with a coffee waiting for your tyre to be done by the glove rack

Rode in with a naked rear end. On coming Cop car never looked in his rear vision :-)

Thanks for that, must post poor Nic.
Hitting the water with my right arm extended & right on my ribs means it still hurts like hell to cough. But pulled muscles at the top of the chest & back a lot betterer LOL today. Solution. . . . try NOT to cough

Might struggle to pick up the 2hundy though
