Yes, cool pics indeed Paul. Glad your parts have arrived Marty
Me still waiting for my bracket, being redone or changed. It's hard hurrying up someone who you know well who has their own v busy sheet metal business. Txt him on Sunday as he has my bike as well. He said a couple days. Hate having to hassle again & it still may not be right even when I get it. I see the ride on the 25th slipping away
However I ordered the 5pin waterproof plug I wanted & have that, plus the wires & shrink wrap.
    Just waiting, waiting. . . .

My parts have all arrived for the R3 so will be spending this Satdee in the shed puting an engine and bike back together, any mechanics with nothing to do on that day are welcome to join in the fun.....especially if they own a torque wrench
I'm no mechanic but do have torque wrench. Was a cheap repco one but has done the job on my gear over the years. 1/2" drive.

    Torque Wrench

    Hi Marty

I have couple if you need them a 1/2 inch and a 3/8 one (snap on one no less) which you will probably need more than the 1/2, might even pop round for a nosey.

Checked out some fishing spots today down McKenzie road off Kahuranaki which has a nice gravel road across the farm - Mr Farmer happy for use for fishing only though, snagged a good one but he got away.

On the way there bumped into the owner that i know of Kahuranaki station who is happy for us to ride the lime track to the summit next week, its a long windy track with big drop offs with an great view from the top if there is no cloud. All his wife said was stick to the tracks, leave the gates as found & NO wheelies !!!!!!!

Thanks 1/2 inch should be the goer...theres only 2 nuts that need to be properly torqued, Rossco has also offered one but more the merrier...think Saturday is looking like rain so perfect for a shed day.

I know the kahuranaki track pretty well as I did some work on the telecom station up there years ago....I remember working away one fine morning seeing a sky hawke fly below me through the valley even waved to the pilot...few seconds latter the jet engine noise kicked in and it got real noisey. Fantastic sight though!

Hope so, but the only accurate forecast here is to look out the window. HB is a province of little Sub climates but at least its been warm here, Normally we would have had the fire going for about a month by now but still not needed yet so hope it holds till next weekend.

Go on to Off Road Forum Bart & read Marty's Trials Bike for A Noob Thread from page 5 I think.
The ride before & the swimming lesson & the noise that wouldn't got away. . . . then the strip down & re build all there.
