Just a heads up. went through Waipunga/darky spur, Waiokau rd today, lots of random soft patches where they have done some maintainance, rest of road is quite clean and fast. Electrical trucks up there also putting new HV transmission lines in at various locations. And the farmer wasn't joking when he told me there were two Texas Long Horn bulls at the bottom of hill when he asked how far the others had roamed.

OK, Just to clear something up here, KIWIGIRL is real ( I checked and you can interpret that any way you like) and is not our mate up to his old tricks again. Her name is Donna and she is a member of the Classic Club.

Mum and Dad now live in Kimbolton....I am heading down there this weekend, taking the scenic route of course
I know it ain't Hawkes Bay but we do criss cross over the ranges fellas aye?
Plan is to do back roads and take over 12 hours to get there and of course maybe a long way home as well....
Sitting here looking at Mapsource and wondering on a good route.....
I have our RRRR here, so that might come in useful....

Those of us that made it to my cuzzies farm in Wairoa and the ones that didnt quite make it have unanimously declared that we will do it again, Circle the 6th of April on ya calender, This time the ride will start in Wairoa to maximise the time on the property. This would suit smaller bikes if you can lay your sticky paws on something. Doable with bigger bikes but you will be working harder with the higher gearing as this property aint flat. Looks like Wade might be trailering his orange beastie up there and looks like another trailer will have an XR200 twin shocker on plus a KL250 twin shocker and a DR200. So dig out the old chook chasers for some serios farm riding.
I will sort out a start time nearer the day.

I would like to do this ride. Will need to catch a ride on a trailer though.
I will be fitting my FlatTracker motor into the " Fastest XR200 in NZ "
We will see how it goes.
Thanks again to Ross for being ON The Spot & knowing what to do when Ang had her crash last Saturday.
