good luck with the skiing...dont break a leg
Yep. The aluminium bracket just gave way(stress fracture) on a straight bit of gravel on RRRR & got chewed up in the back wheel. Ripped the earth wire out, mangled my number plate even more & wrenched 5 pin plug which needs replacing & wrenched wires.

Happy to have a look at it for ya Robin if you want to bing it over some time...shouldn't be too difficult to get it back into action

Many many thanks Marty. Have also had a kind offer from Paul (pomgolian) who would be v keen to see your new TOY ( whoops . . .piece of exercise equipment which she is indeed )
Just been reading about the drowning & all the associated problems you are having & waiting for parts for Beta. So sorry to hear.
I suppose it's a chance for you to get to know her well.

Just worried you are a bit busy & need to concentrate on your bike.
The bracket is being made at the mo. Hoping it will get done this week. Paul did suggest maybe we three could do at your place as you have seen our quaint (old) garage with no lights. But only if you have time.

We will have sort something out Robyn cos it looks like a ride at the end of the month, just waiting to hear back from a certain "Southern gentleman" as to when he is going to grace us with his presence in HB. (Still reckon he is a lead scout for the southern Adv Scooter battalion).
Cant have you not participating just cos you have a non functioning, um, back end.

Damm it , I'm a rugby mom tomorrow! Just made a truck load of club sandwiches for the lunch after the game for the visiting Hamilton 1st 15.
Have fun you two tomorrow & thanks so much, along with Ross for your kind offers to help me get the 2hundy back on the road
Got my extra strong bracket dropped in at home today. Not sure why it has been made wider in the part that fits under my MX guard when I gave the broken one to copy? I will be surprised if it doesn't have to go back to be trimmed down. Will try it on my bike tomorrow.

What a Day in the Bay! Had a fantastic ride, awsome scenery, brillant weather, great company, only got stuck once, 340klm's of gravel, sand, slab, interspersed with the odd fire break, farm track and a whale sized bacon & egg burger

Will post up a video once I've sorted it.
