WOW ~ 350 - 400 K's before fuel....might be pushing the KTM the last 50 K's
So, better carry some extra fuel for this one........unless someone doesn't mind a tow
Looking like it's going to be a good turn-out!!!!!!!![]()

for those with fugal fuel tanks the distances are loosely these
Havelock to Pa-wrong-ahow pub ...allow say 150ks should be heaps. we should get there before 12 so you can top up at the garage...don't know if they have eftpos though.
If we do similer track ride back to waipawa that me and paul did a few weeks back it will be another 70-80ks before any gas. From there (again depending on where we go)will be at least another 120 ks back to havelock.
the afternoon ride is likely to "evolve" a tad so could be long short or medium.
At worst you will need to have enough gas for say 230 k's....if you dont fill up at poorongawho
Hope that helps with your planning.

Highlight for me was the hooning on the beach, I counted 6 off's and got 5 on videoI think the guest of honour features in at least 2 of em
Have a pile of video to sift through, footage is better than my last attempt but still need to lift the go pro up a tadAny way will post it up when I get round to eiditing.
....wherezz that track go
well it might have been the shortest adv ride that I have done - 130km from Havelock to the pub (I left after lunch) but it had everything - great farm tracks, stunning views, sweet twisty seal, brilliant dirt roads, beach racing - just awesome fun
many thanks for organaminizing it Marty
cheers
Mark S
A great day & an ab fab ride
Thanks so much Marty. Thanks Nigel & Mark for joining the Bay Team, & Gerard & Catherine for meeting us for lunch.
Those jumping sheep gave me a fright as they landed on the track in front me while we were ascending Mount Kahuraniki. So glad one didn't take me out!
Love the faces on that last photo Raymond. Great pics :-)
Wish I could have joined you on the beach guys but assing off is probably not a good idea just yet. Great lunch and catch up. Be out there again soon GSers
