Cheers Marty, Amazing view from Mt Erin, Not often you get to look down on TeMata peak. Good to catch up with some other Adv riders at Poohwrongahhow. Nice to meetcha Nigel. Plenty more roads in the bay to show ya next time you venture nth.

Twas Mt Karhuranaki Ross Mt Erin is the smaller one of the triple peaks trust me i did the mountain bike triple peaks event a few years ago and its a loooong pedal up Karhuranaki. Seemed so much quicker this time round.

It was excellent riding, great company and good food - that bacon and egg burger lived up to its reputation.
Went to bed last night absolutely stuffed and sore from trying to stay on the bike (had a couple of little spills), but with a big grin.

That o'll KLR looks like its seen some serious action alright. the lights stopped working on the way down and the tank came loose after the second dropping; if that bike could talk I bet it would have some great stories to tell
