I was looking to upgrade, and wennt on Motorcycle Trader website, where I found about 8 possible bikes that I liked. 2 of them were at the same dealership. So I have emailed all 7 dealers around the country, and only ever got a reply back from 2 of them. I thought that maybe my emails weren't getting through so I have emailed the other 5 again and still nothing. I guess they weren't interested in getting my business. I went and saw the other 2 and got a very warm reception and great help. I was clear in my intentions and both offered to give me the bikes for a test run so i could experience the difference for my self knowing that I possibly would not buy their particular bike anyway.
In order to assist the Dealers further Motorcycle Trader now have a system where if you telephone about one of the advertised models on motorcycletrader.co.nz and no one takes your phone call we'll let that Dealer know so they can give you a call back or at least be aware that you have questions about that particular motorcycle.

Unfortunately we're unable to do that for un-replied emails but we definitely know if you've sent one via our website. I see the number of email requests coming through with questions and requests for test rides on the new models via our New Bike Showroom so keep them coming. These are sent directly to the brands Head Office so that they are made aware and can advise the nearest Dealer to you that has a demo model on the floor.

Well Motorad definitely came through for me. Had my bike basically an hour after getting off the plane. They could not have been easier to deal with. And thanks to Whitetrash for letting me know where not to go.

I'd imagine Whitetrash couldn't post any of your emails on this site proving that you're crock full of shit because it would be illegal for him to do so.

    As for service:
    a) When visiting Wellington I pretty much got the choice of any Yamaha in their shop to take for a test ride (one shot of a Super Ten later)...even after protesting to WhiteTrash that I was skint.
    b) my brake pads were as thin as rizlas and they were quite happy to let a mate borrow some of their tools and use their workshop to change them.

I'm a hard to please miserable scottish cunt who's always whining about crap Kiwi service, but i'd conclude that you're a judgemental candadian fuck. I had a very similar experience when trying to arrange a bike in Los Angeles. Next time pick up the phone.

Now have a nice trip, ride safe, enjoy the overpriced kiwi coffee and don't give the boys in blue too much in fines

For what are you thanking me again? Oh that's right, for defending myself and the three other major Wellington bike shops when you started spouting shit about how NONE of us replied to you but in reality at least three of four did.

Glad to hear Carl and the team looked after you though Jeff and you got the right machine for your trip. Good bunch of guys in there who take their job seriously.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday and enjoy our beautiful country.

Scracha and Whitetrash you're the best. How much less fun this forum would be without you.

Thank Christ, I was beginning to think you thought I'd offended you in some way. Glad we've sorted that out and you hit the nail on the head, it's a forum, and one seldom taken too seriously just quietly.

As for Scracha, he really is a raving scottish poofter. Srysly.

It's your stupid Kiwi accent. When you asked what I'd like, I replied "R6" and for some reason you bent over. In my country it's only gay if you take it.
