Rerouting breather hoses?

i have been having trouble with the breather hoses getting clogged for some time & figure its time i did something about it.on the wr i have 4 breathers off the carb and plan to run one either side of the carb up along under the seat .any one else done this and are there any problems i should watch out for ? i figure the ends of the hoses should be facing down so if any water gets in there it doesnt drain back to the carb.would it be ok to run them inside the airbox?
also can i do the same with the engine breather. there appears to be a space at the front of the airbox for this hose.
i have yet to find any water or mud in the airbox on any of the rides i have done.
any other options?
fairly sure its the hoses coz to get bike going again all you need to do is flick the hoses to get the mud out of them.however this can be quite awkward when thebike is buried in mud or stopped in a creek

You can use inline filters but they can still get blocked, run only the top two hoses up under the tank (higher the better). If you run them into the airbox the carb can possibly be affected by the negative pressure in the airbox when you are at full throttle

do a search on "thumper talk" for breather mods, lots of info there, olso ballards do a hose mod kit with hoses and an end filter

If your float bowl hose is higher than the float bowl overflow pipe inside the bowl it wont function and you will flood your bike every time you lie it down / crash, the rest might be ok

Ive seen this and never used it because ive never had the problem.
