    Waikato gravel hazard (28 September)

If you're riding between The Tron and Raglan today, be aware that there is a reasonably sized gravel spill on the road...

It's on a left hander, about 600 metres West of Waitetuna Valley Road - the road that cuts off left from the long sweeping uphill right hander and about 5.4km East of Te Uku.

I daresay it will disperse throughout the day but this morning it was the cause of a slight "twang" moment - for me anyway...have to say the modern bike copes with that sort of thing much better than the old fullas I learned on. Fortunately...

Nobody seems to be accountable for keeping the roads clean and tidy these days!

I wonder why insurance companies aren't kicking up a stink, the number of windscreens that get smashed!

Unemployment is just another way of saying no money ... just enough for the dole payments!
