The opinion of one...apparently, the job has been done on two only out of how many out there?
    And one is for sale...

White Power is always an option.

Yeah I would definitely spend thousands on that when you've been offered the fix FOC.

I am only feeding the frenzy Ian.
I wouldn't spend thousands on suspension ever again full stop.

My question on the FOC fix up was...
''So its a systematic method of adjusting the shims followed by the addition of some heavy weight oil''?

    RTs reply...
''Primarily shims and engineering out ''uncontrolled bleed''. The aim is to be able to run as thin an oil as is possible because its viscosity ( and therefore fork action / speed ) will vary less with temperature shift. ''

I beleive any decent bike machanic can do that job for me if required.

I believe you are wrong sir. Any decent mechanic is going to say send it to a suspension specialist if you want to fuck around with the shims and revalving, or they are going to say they can do it, and then they just send them to a suspension specialist.

Sure they will change the fluid, but they arent going to play with the valves.

P.S. have you wheelied it yet?

..any decent machanic would out source work the he/she was unable to competenly do the job themselves..
EG: the shorty on the FZ8 was done by those someone else, no the dealership at where I bought it.

    My wheelies suck.
