    Moderators Note.

I've just cut 69 posts from this thread, what stayed and went was my choice. Don't like it, too bad, my other choice was to PD the whole thread.

    Smile Enjoy!

Nice bike, relish the feeling of having a new toy, and yes definately new matching helmet. Can't wait to see it.

    Woah.... Bit harsh there Imdying.

Not a fan of the FZ8, but to each there own. I know the feeling of getting a new bike and you must be happy as with it Mark.

    Tyres

I will be sticking with the Battlax 021s that are currently on the bike.
I had intentions of swapping my PR3's over from the Honda, but after riding it with the B'Stones I now cannot be arsed.

    Several Suprises

..the seat, it has comfort..first thought it was one of those arse breakers like they have on GSXR's etc.
How well it preformed for my riding style.
..no wind hitting the helmet, unlike the Honda, which is why I relented and got a screen.
    The tyres felt confident....good grip.
...mirrors are a tad small, but thats usual.

Happens... but I still have my favourites.

Different tyres will work differently on different bikes, not to mention pressures and the rider. ie, you wouldn't put the PR2 on a 250, as the bike's too light for that tyre.

I will say I have a soft spot for Michelins. Hornet PR2 front is being replaced today after 24,500km... with another of course! Itching to get the PR3s onto my BMW...

They are a very nice tyre (PR3's)...I will go back to them once the B'Stones have ceased to assist in the correct manner.
