Thumbs down Stolen, Aprilia "Starck" Moto 6.5 from the feelers!

    Hi

My names matt thomas,I play bass for the band the feelers. My Aprilia moto 6.5 (the phillepe Starck model) was stolen from outside my girlfriends place on The Strand in Parnel Auckland on Anzac day ( 25th April ) this year.

I didn't have insurance so I am going to a bit of extra effort to recover it. I am offering a $1000 cash reward no questions asked if it is recovered in reasonable condition. If it is recovered in unreasonable condition I would consider giving a reward for information leading to the conviction of the #$^%^ who stole it from me.

It is a 1996 model in orange and grey. It has a number of features that distinguish it from other bikes of the same model, but I am not going to list them here as that would give those responsible the oportunity to change them. One though is the cover for the storage compartment (disguised as part of the engine) may be missing as it was left behind on the footpath.

the picture of the bike in front of the car is actually mine, the other two are stock photos of a similar bike

If anyone has come accross one of these since April please contact me, even if you don't believe it to be mine.

The number plate at the time was 19 TEA, if you have any info please contact me here or call the police on *555 from a mobile, or your local station.

thanks heaps, if you don't mind bumping this up to the top of the forum everynow and then that would be appreciated too! thanks

    Matt

Bastard thieving toerags. Unfortunately posts such as yours are getting more common. I'll keep an eye out in Wellington and if I find them I'll douse them in petrol and set them alight. Bloody hate dickheads who help themselves to other peoples property.

Oh and welcome to the site.

Fek arse. The license plate and the bike are quite distinctive, so if the dickheads have left it in one piece it shouldn't be hard to spot. Nice bike too. Bastards.

On a more positive note, my 2 year old loves The Feelers (I don't mind you guys either).

    no insurance?

why would you not insure a rare and exotic bike?
bet you won't to that again.

The Feelers rock. I'll keep an eye out, but it's been a long time since it was lifted. Isn't it something like a week before your chances of recovering it dimish to nothing??

Saw this on trademe a while back, and have been keeping an eye out for it since...it's a pretty distinctive bike. The plate is easy to remember too...though I doubt it'll be on it.

    Here's hoping it shows up.
