    180 degree rear view mirror

Essentially the way it works is by being curved, and mounted centrally on the handlebars, it fills in the blind spots that conventional mirrors have. It is not a replacement for existing mirrors but an addition.

It's a pretty neat idea and there is a video demonstrating it's use. Check it out

Yeah, but you can only turn your head so far and the 'lifesaver' has to be just a quick glance. I do have my mirrors oriented so I can see really close behind me and more to the side than right behind. It's at the expense of seeing what is directly behind me 50 metres back but I'm more interested in my immediate threat areas whan who is sneaking up behind me.

I can see the value of this new mirror ... apart from checking to see if my pants are zipped up.

This sounds like a great idea espcially if you ride a lot on motorways.

Dunno if it'd work on a sprot bike. My mirrors show me my arms most of the time Maybe some little blindspot mirrors would help, or if the manufacturers could (were allowed to?) make convex mirrors so we could see more

I tried one of those out in a shop the other day. After about 3 minutes of fiddling to get the mirror properly positioned, I found to see out of it, I had to look ALL the way up, which prohibited glancing, and it had a rather limited field of view. Little bit overmarketed methinks.

Good enough idea, but i'd be concerned about being blinded by sunstrike from behind, or car headlights at night ruining night vision.

I bought the round stick on button mirrors. They are curved so I get a full view rearwards and off to the side. A couple of bucks each including postage from China so I bought 8.

    Cheers
