Somewhere to stay in Wellington? (27th December)

Anyone in the Wellington City area know of a cheap (or free?) place where a group of touring motorcycles (10 or so) could camp for the night? Arriving 10pm 27th Dec, gone by 7am on the 28th.

Front lawn, carport, or camp ground - we'll take what we can get and we promise to be tidy!

They have a temporary camp site established for the Rugby World Cup.

If you don't mind being a little way out you can try the Kimberly Reserve freedom camping site here:

Or I have another site nearby with some basic facilities but would need to ask for a small donation for my Scout group. (about 500m of gravel to that site)
