    What do you reckon?

5150 - Bike is gorgeous but the price of the hornets is swaying we that way i thinnk... plus, i love hornets :P Will have to see what this machine tonight is like.
Hornets are good solid bikes. Don't be scared by the kms. It's more how its been ridden and how well it's been mainained. Long distance out of town kms would be better then short around town riding. If it has maintenance records then it gives you better idea as to what the owner was like. Either way, good luck and I hope you find the right bike for you. I certainly enjoyed my Zed, and sometimes miss it and the relaxed riding position compared to the Daytona.
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

    .
Good cheap bike there and as mentioned those km's aren't "high". Those motors if served well can last huge kms.
I'd ask for a fresh WOF for peace of mind too btw

It has ohlins shock, aftermarket exhausts (nice sound) power commander and dyno tuned. Aftermarket seat, mirrors, leavers, grips, pack rack.
Real nice to ride, I should know it's my wife's bike and I get to ride it to work.

53000kms isn't much for a 900 hornet, Warr has one with well over 200000kms on it.

    Cheers guys!

Went and had a look tonight, was in very nice condition. Rego is out though, which is the only thing stopping me form buying it right away.

There's a nice blue hornet with 27k on the clock that I'm interested in, BUT it's in Taranaki and the owner is in aussie

As long as it hasn't had the rego done in over a year (and therefore be deregistered) you only have to pay for what you put on it so take whatever the cost of the amount of rego you would expect it to have off your offer and explain that to them

if you are on a budget, there are a lot of 'older' models out there that are fantastic machines for reliability, longevity and with the extra could be 'modified' to suit personal taste, examples, CB1000F, RF900, FJ1200, XJR12/1300, CB1300, ZXR11/1200.. any of those can be found with low K's and will last for eon's if serviced regularly.
