F-ing gorgeous bike, smooth power delivery and plenty of it. Handles superb and is comfortable to ride.

AND the Mrs approves (like she had much asy in the matter :P)

Once again, thank you for all the help, see you on the road!

53,000km for the Hornet 900s is nothing. Mine has just over 97,000, still just regular services every 6k, Toto has 125,000km ish on his, GiJoe has 86,000 ish I think.

    Bulletproof.

Good to know! Well engine seems good as gold! We settled on $4500 once the rego had been sorted. Can't get enough of riding her! Handles surprisingly similar to the 250 even with all that extra weight. Now I just need to get a spare key made :P

Absolutely. Check, but afaik, all models came with HISS, meaning you really want that spare key...

Then I suggest you look at wider bars (for leverage), maybe an Ohlins rear shock... makes it real mint.

Haha, yeah I've been looking up on that... which is why I wanna get a ASAP :P

theres a guy selling second key and the kit to do it for $80.. otherwise it's about $150 from cyclespot honda.

Also been thinking about putting renthals on, but now I'm used to the bars how they are. Need to change the indicators on them though... originals are a bit hideous.

Good on ya mate. Hornet 900 is a good bike.

About the handlebars, the renthal ultra-lows make it a bit more than an inch wider on both sides. I think this makes lane splitting a bit of a pain. A lot more comfortable though, like you say, if you get used to the standard ones then just leave it.

    Pics!
