I would have spent the " improvement" money on suspension and brakes so you can gets its lardy 260kgarse around corners and to a halt.
Surely making it better than new isn't a restoration at all, and that only fucks the value.
Motu is back, slagging the CB750 off again. By the time he has rebuilt his Norton/BSA/Triumph for the fourth or fifth time, the CB is still cane-ing it without even so much as a hiccup on the original plugs. I ride my K0 within its limits, I red line it every time I'm on it, repeatedly. OK, it doesn't handle so good when pushed. What bike does? They all have faults.

Agreed, the 750/4 is a nice machine...but it doesn't spin my wheels....I need assistance from a leaky twin for that...
I would be interested in having a ride on one some time, see how it compares to the Commando...could be fun..can't say I've ever been near red line on it.....the image of all those fragile parts turning at 7500 rpm ......![]()
