    Thumbs up Armstrong Locksmiths

Soooooooooooo this morning I managed to lock my keys under the seat. They were in my bag, and I never put my keys in my bag (except yesterday obviously). Felt the 'oh fuck' moment realising what I had done as I pushed the seat closed. I couldn't find my spare. The seat unlocks from the ignition barrel. Crap.

I considered pulling body panels off to get the lock cable, but luckily the guy from Armstrong Locksmiths in Avondale was able, after many minutes of poking and prodding, to make a new key by feel that was very nearly good enough for him to get it open. A couple more minutes with the lock picking tools and he had it open.

    Well done that man

now I have to go to work after all. Bugger

Always carry a spare set of keys in my bike pants. If I forget my pants I'm in trouble. Last autumn, on the way to the caravan in Ohiwa, get to Nukuhau North, tap on the shoulder, wife says "I forgot the caravan key" so off home we went. The good bit was that was the week of the Japan tsuname warning.
