    Recreating the Honda 297cc 6, RC174

    Most of us will know of this - even heard it on Youtube. I never realised what Honda did to actually make the thing
    Here's an article about George Beale who set about building a replica. Took him 9 months just to get the oil cooler made. Even the sump had 15 sub castings, hidden oil ways 1mm in diameter and so forth

    Great read - good find.

    This is what racing is all about. Imagine where we would be if they hadn't put the brakes on this sort of engineering with parity measures and regulations.
    You only need two tools in life:
    Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't.
    WD-40 if it doesn't move and it should.
