    New infringement notices?

    So how long have these new "supermarket receipt" style infringement notices been around?

    After getting pinged today for $120/20 demerits, I checked the back of the ticket looking for my 4c fuel voucher. Nothing........not a sausage?

    Needless to say, I'm feeling a little ripped right now.

    Got one in July. Geriatric revenue collector took 30 minutes working out how to use it while I stood there getting hypothermia.

    One of our workers got one a few months back and was given compliance,
    When I took it to the police station to get it checked off they didn't know what they were looking at.
    They had to find someone who knew what it was, and after half an hour I was finally out of there.

    You're in no mans land Scummie. The Southern HP guys got them months ago, we got ours yesterday. No big deal really. They speed up the processing, but they take time to get used to.

    I like them best coz I can actually read the writing on them, as opposed to the latin scrawlings of a couple of my staff.

    Doesn't suck as much as being told at the roadside I was getting a ticket for doing 113kph (which I was, no argument from me and I take me medicine), and then getting home and reading the ticket to see it said 131kph. Fucking dyslexic as well as geriatric.

    Read them roadside people!

    Do these new machines use a cell phone connection for anything?
    Or are they just a fancy calculator?
    I got a Taxi once with mobile eftpos and when we got to the address there was no coverage, I had no cash and the driver couldn't be bothered driving up the hill so I could pay him.
