    Anyone own a Suzuki GN250?

I just have a pressing question about the fuel switch, I know when the switch it horizontal the fuel is off. I want to know when I have my reserve tank operating... so it is when the the dial is facing up or down?

Also for the owners out there, how easy is it to service this bike DIY style?

I can't help about the fuel switch, but as bikes go they are pretty simple. Ability to DIY fix it would depend on your individual skill level, but it's not exactly a complex machine.

This should be reserve. The long side pointed down should be main tank.
To confirm...set the tag downwards, take a container of gas with you, ride until it stops, reset tag upwards, if it won't restart then I got them the wrong way round...refill from container and remember the tap setting.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah, a google search throws up an archived thread from here which says down is on (up reserve, horizontal off as always)

Ok cool, just didn't want to be stranded without gas to test
