So its ok to touch someones car but not ok for someone to touch your bike

That's different, that guy was using the seat to sort out his stuff. This guy is helping the driver by adjusting something that should have done at home.
It's not hugely different to a cager politely pointing out that you left your indicator on. (like that ever happens)

I'd be happy to have another biker point out to me that my car mirror is folded in. I'd then extend it (if I wanted to) with the switch inside the car. Not sure about them actually touching it though. Imagine if it was some weird mirror that was tied full time to the motor inside it and manual extending it broke the motor....
Nice post nathan....made me smile
thanks for sharing

...I lean into it!
Probably saved another biker from "not being seen"
the cager probably doesn't know what that mirror is for anyway
The mirror's broken, that's why it's tucked in.
kicking in of car mirrors is more fantasy than fiction.... it happens rarely. You get yourself in all kinds of shit if you it just once.
isn't that what you have the spare number plate for?
they call it in and it goes to some poor bloke on the other side of the country?![]()

Can no longer view the vid but from the comments if it was a biker unfolding a car's side mirror, I did exactly that just last week at some lights and the driver thanked me and called be a gentleman.
Made things safer for me, him and the next car/bike/cycle that comes along
So there!
