    Mt Pat bites

we made it fair way in the snow ride..now there no snow yer
can see how step some of those little rises are... but if we
had been able to get any fearther..think we would have
been in deep shit.. it gets steep and rough just around
    from where we got to...
I managed to get to the top on 3 wheels... But on the
way down 100m from the top things got interesting...
there was a small slip..I.managed to drop the car wheel
of the side..the the other 2 wheel desided to follow...
I bailed... 10m earlyer & I would still be walking... In the
pic theres a 100m vertical drop on the other side of the small
pines... i had to unbolt the car & drag it up to the road...
then turn the bike so i could ride it along the slope to the road..

Pete, lucky stuff mate! Long way out there! Might bring the bike over at Xmas and get up Altimarloch and Mt Pat - they're awesome wee hills.
There are two kinds of adventurers: those who go truly hoping to find adventure and those who go secretly hoping they won't. We should come home from our adventures having faced their perils and uncertainties, endured their discomfort and beaten the odds, with a sly acknowledgment and revitalised solidarity of character.
