    Announce The ADV Movember challenge...

Next week is the start of Movember - growing facial hair to raise awareness and funds for two very good causes: Depression and Prostate Cancer.

While there are some technical issues which mean that I can't take part directly, I do my bit by sponsoring anyone I know who is taking part.
Thus I extend a challenge to the Adventure Forum: Grow a moustache and I will donate some of my hard earned cash

There are three very simple rules:
    1. Post a photo of yourself clean-shaven at the start of Movember
    2. Post a photo of yourself with facial hair (top lip is manditory, everything else is optional) at the end of Movember.
    3. Register on the Movember website

Do all of that, and I will be more than happy to sponsor you.

    It's a great cause.
I did a reverse-Movember last year and raised $1,200 by shaving my beard off.

    I don't get it. Feel I should, but don,t.

Will pass up the movember offer cos I wouldn't raise a dime as it takes ages for me to grow any substantial facial hair.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

I should do this again this year seeing as my old man went under the knife 3 years back. But I now work in a office full of contractors who like to give me shit about riding a scooter (us guberment employees don't get fancy pants cars like all them coperate fellas), I'm a guberment employee (nuff said) and my facial hair don't grow fast. Doing Movember would just create another excuse for them to diss me

I'm just bloody glad that I was one of the last ones to leave the office (which is saying something cause contractors work late) a couple of friday's back so nobody saw me drop the scoot on the gravel in the car park Seems when a scoot wants to take a rest they do it bloody quickly! Have since stoped trying to ride it like a EXC on gravel

Did you shave a small portion of it off each day until there was none left at the end of the month?

I thought all government employees had to have facial hair to keep their jobs....or is that only DOC workers

hehehe.....yup those 12inch wheels don't steer to well in the loose stuff. I dropped a hired one in Greece back in the day, They had placed stickers all over the bike so if one was scratched they would say you must have crashed it and keep ya bond....they were all on the fidddle....they haddn't counted fro kiwi ingenuity though, I simply pulled all the stickers off haw haw
    ....wherezz that track go
