    Cruisey BOP ride in December?

The ADV calendar is filling up fast, and it's been ages since I last organised a ride, so I thought I should start doing some planning.

I've got three different ride concepts I've been kicking around over the last year or so, and can't decide which one I like best:

A tour of the Rotorua lakes area, including gravel, optional offroad sections, hot pools, and scenic (though oily ) BOP coastlines.

Or... The Masterchef ride - camping at Mangamate Waterfall in the Whirinaki forest, cooking adventurous food, and maybe finding some gravel along the way

Or... a photographic mission (or sedate explore) through the Waikaremoana road and surrounds - stopping to look at interesting things, buggering around taking photos etc.

Let me know what you think of the different ride concepts, and propose some suitable dates in December, then I can get off my arse and organise a ride
The road to hell is paved...

A masterchef campout at Whirinaki could also include an excursion around some of the nearby 4x4 tracks. These range from mildly to very gnarly & go through some spectacular native forest.

    Cheers

We may do another cruisey low-key ride in Jan/Feb as well. Will keep you posted. Both the lake ride, and whirinaki have some expert loops that you'd appreciate

Rosie we are interested on lookers, may be keen depending on dates (the bike is becoming too much of a garage ornament, I need to get out and use it!)

Keen for any option. Hot pools are good at the end of the day.
Have a commit in Raglan on the 11th in afternoon.
